WebSiteam released a useful tiny application allowing to examine zipped files published on the Internet. As soon as you reveal the contents you can launch any file without unpacking the whole package.
The regular algorithm of working with zipped contents assumes downloading, unpacking, finding (or not finding) what you need, and deleting the rest. Assuming this, all those RARs and ZIPs are much of a pig in a poke as you can’t tell for sure what you are downloading before you extract the contents. Now you can skip useless actions because WebArchivesViewer provides you with a quicker solution.
WebArchivesViewer is in fact a browser plug-in that places itself in the context menu and allows an instant view of the contents zipped in an archive. The procedure is actually very simple. You only have to right click on the hyperlink to a package. Then you select the corresponding context menu item and WebArchivesViewer reveals the contents in a new window. And there’s even more to that - you are able to launch selected files using your common applications. (Obviously, the above won’t work with password protected files.)
Still, there are several features to add to wish list.

WebArchivesViewer is only compatible with the Internet Explorer so it’s completely of no use for FireFox and Opera fans. The read package formats are ZIP and RAR. They’re of course the most popular ones but the list could be more impressive.
All in all, WebArchivesViewer can’t be called an ultimate time saver however it might prove practical for those who often has to work with downloading zipped files. After all, it’s worth giving it a try, apart from that, it’s absolutely free to use.
